This tutorial will teach you how to simulate live server into your own local PC using Xampp.

First:

Go to your "Window/System32/driver/etc" Folder, and look for the "host" file. Edit the file and add this ("127.0.0.1   mySite") in the bottom on the line, then save.

Second:

Go to your "xampp/apache/conf/extra" and look for this file "httpd-vhosts.conf", After locating file,
uncomment the "NameVirtualHost *:80", And then add the following at the bottom.


    DocumentRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs/calcdim"
    ServerName calcdim
    ServerAlias calcdim
 
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all
    AllowOverride all
Third:

Go to "Xamp/Apache/Conf" and look for "httpd.conf" file.Find the following:

LoadModule vhost_alias_module modules/mod_vhost_alias.so
Include "conf/extra/httpd-userdir.conf"

if commented, please uncomment it by removing the "#" character.

Fourth:

Create a folder named mySite inside your "xamp/htdocs". After creating the folder, create index.html to test if it is really working.

Fifth:

Restart your apache to opening xampp control panel.

Last:

After restarting the apache, type mySite in your browser to text where its working.

What is the difference between the a Hostname and a Domain? A lot of people, misused or inter change both terms, maybe because they are like one, but has different role in the world wide web. Now, what is a domain? and a hostname? if you read the description in wikipedia, its a bit complicated. To make it easy I will give an example for you to understand more. Ex. "www.blogspot.com" in this statement blogspot.com is consider be the domain.Domain is usual refer to the name of the website. When we say a Host or a Hostname, it is also a name of the website, however it is a sub domain. Sub domain, from its name a domain inside a domain. For example: "www.dimlight18.blogspot.com" the word dimlight is a host of the domain "blogspot.com". Hostname and domain are used for website urls, they are almost alike somehow they have different functionality in the world wide web.

Java Script is a web base program language. Every Web Developers use java scripting for the reason that  This is commonly use for user interference. When you say user interference,  It create an interface or communication between the website and its readers. Somehow , like other programming tools, it also have its advantages and disadvantage.


This advantage are the following:

1.Web 2.0 use java scripting for more interactive website.

2.Unlike the flash effects, java script is easy to load for its lightness. The readers is no longer need to have a fast internet connection just to read your article.

3.Java script is not server side. It process a transaction without loading the whole website like the PHP.


This Disadvantages are the following:

1.Not all Web Developers knows how to use java scripts. Others just get the java script frame work and inject it to their site. Their is no problem with java script framework injection, somehow in some instances there are issues of incompatibility of several scripting
that result of  website overloading.

2.Java script is also a common tool for the web hackers, they use script injection to hack a site. XSS or Cross side script is on of the attack made by java scripts.

3.Not all java script function is effective to a website. Ads pop up is one, it is very inconvenient for the user to read to many pop up from a site.

4.Java script is light, some how to much of java script can slow down the page loading of a website.

I thought I was in the other site when I saw this image, first thing that comes in my mind,that it is a scam website, but when I move my mouse over picture, I found out that to day is the 11th birthday of google. Before I get started, I would like to clarify things, that image is not a media player, nor a pokeball this is the new browser that Im using right now, this browser is develop by google (pretty obvious) and it has a lot more advantages compare to the other browsers, in terms of its speed, its stylish features and its security. I could say that it is more secured because it could stop my web application form repeating a dialog box or so called a pop up box by giving an option to the user to stop the program, which other browser don't have. Have you encountered that you cannot connect to other players thought you already have a G-arena Setup and Account?
